Analytic Consultants / Data Scientists

ASR has an immediate need for Analytic Consultants and Data Scientists in the Washington, DC area. The ideal candidates will be self-starters with superior communication skills (verbal and written). An understanding of data science and analytics is valuable, and the desire and ability to learn quickly is vital.  In addition, successful candidates will possess the following qualifications:

  • Junior Consultants
    • 0-2 years of professional experience
    • Degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a similar quantitative field

Experienced SQL Server Programmer

We have an immediate need for an SQL Server Programmer to support engagements in Washington, DC. Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications:

Required Qualifications

  1. At least 3-5 years of Transact-SQL programming experience
  2. Experience developing and implementing data warehouses and BI environments, including dimensional data modeling, OLAP, and ETL
  3. Proficiency in Transact-SQL and scripting with experience in developing advanced queries, stored procedures, and views
  4. Ability to work with complex data structures and understand data relationships in OLTP and/or OLAP based databases
  5. Ability to analyze customer requirements and implement best fit solutions using available technologies
  6. Ability to develop and document standards, guidelines, and processes as required
  7. Experience with database performance analysis, query optimization, and table space planning
  8. Exceptional communication and problem solving skills
  9. Ability to be at a client site when / if necessary

Desired Qualifications

  1. 3-5 years of SQL database administration experience, version 2005 or higher
  2. Knowledge of installation, configuration, clustering, and mirroring SQL Server
  3. Experience using other SQL-based databases such as MySQL, Oracle, etc
  4. Experience using other BI platforms such as Cognos, Business Objects, Actuate, MicroStrategy, or SAS
  5. Experience with advanced analytic methods (i.e.., regression, statistical sampling) is a plus!

Health Care Fraud Investigator

We are seeking experienced data and decision centric Heath Care Fraud Investigators. Primary responsibilities will include investigating and resolving instances of Medicaid fraud, waste and abuse, analyzing claims for risk identification, evaluation and analysis of improper payments, to improve and provide ongoing, up-to-date support to the current review activities of Medicaid Providers and Participants.

Experience Requirements:

  1. Consultants/Analysts must have 3+ years of continuous professional experience
  2. Minimum 2 years concentrated in investigating healthcare fraud, waste and abuse
  3. Hands-on experience with healthcare and insurance claims
  4. Experiences include: risk identification, evaluation and analysis of improper payments, waste, fraud or misuse of assets
  5. Basic knowledge of federal, state and local laws & regulations related to the health insurance industry including Medicaid Title XIX, CHIP Title XXI, and waiver programs.
  6. Accreditation in medical coding, AHFI and/or CFE or relevant comparable certification is desirable.
  7. Strong client and team interaction skills
  8. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)

Experienced Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Internal Controls, Risk Analytics, and Improper Payments Consultants/Analysts

We are seeking experienced data- and decision-centric Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Financial Management, Risk Analytics, and Information Technology Internal Controls, and Improper Payments consultants/analysts for full time assignments supporting clients in the Washington, DC metro area. Duties will include the strategizing, designing, implementing, and supporting complex program and administrative and operational environments within federal government agencies.

Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications:

Experience Requirements:

  • Consultants/Analysts must have 3+ years of continuous professional experience, preferably with at least 2+ years concentrated in federal financial or operational management processes and systems (e.g., Oracle Federal Financials, CGI Momentum)
  • “Big 4” experience is required, preferably as an in-charge senior or manager
  • Experience must include strategy, design, implementation, and support of an ERM, risk analytics, or internal controls programs based on GAO “Green Book,” FMFIA, OMB Circular A-123, GRPRMA, IPIA (as amended), FFMIA, and FISMA
  • Hands-on experience with data analytics, statistics, modeling, simulation, business intelligence or data visualization tools
  • Experiences preferably included risk identification, evaluation and analysis of improper payments, waste, fraud or misuse of assets
  • CPA, CISA, CGFM, RIMS-CRMP or relevant comparable certification

Tableau Administrator / Developer

We are seeking an experienced Tableau Admin / Developer for full time assignments supporting several clients in the Washington, DC area. We are seeking a highly motivated professional with experience in dashboard and report development using Tableau.

Required Experience / Education / Qualifications:

  1. Tableau Administrator who has experience developing in and administering Tableau Server, Tableau Desktop on Windows Platform.
